should vaccinations be made compulsary
if children do not have there immunisations so they be stopped from attending school
this morning i was watching the wright stuff on channel 5, a very interesting debate caught my eye so i thought i would post it on here to see what your views are.
in america if a child has not had their vaccinations they are not allowed to attened school, they are thinking of bringing this policy into britain. As a mother myself i made sure joel was vaccinated because i felt that it would be selfish of me that another child could catch something from joel because he was not vaccinated, i know there has been a link to some vaccinations with cases of autisms but i feel there has not been enough research into this for parents to decide not to vaccinate there child, most of the imformation i have seen on this subject is quite scary to read which i find scares parents into making the wrong choice with there children.
Why have i gone so wax lyrical about this, i have a child myself and i know many of the members on here have children and i just wanted to see what you all think about this subject.
The poll below is whether vaccinations should be made compulsary

Re: if children do not have there immunisations so they be stopped from attending school
well in all fairness, the good out weighs that bad. You never hear of the good it does, just the bad. But if they get the diseases that they were suppose to be vaccinated from then die then they would feel so bad or suicidal. So i would go and be safe than sorry.
Plus can you imagine what caos it would be. They law states all children must attend school, and yet the law may also be employing the Vaccination or no school... so where do we draw a line????
Just get the vaccination and go to school...end of...lol

personally i think the vaccinations are a very good idea..... my nan was one of the few who caught diptheria as a child an actually recovered (at that time many who caught it did survive). She made me promise her that i would have my children vaccinated against at least ditheria. my own mother refused to have me vaccinated against whooping cough two months later i contracted it and it is believed that triggered my asthma off.......
i have two very good family reasons to agree with vaccinations. think how many more diseases would hospitals be having to deal with if we didn't mass vaccinate? Smallpox still?
just in case u didn't guess... i voted for the jabs and make parents get the kids their jabs. one good point is..... if u child doen't go to school due to lack of jabs... does that mean the same parent is liable to be prosecuted for having a child with truancy issues?
